Do you know anything about job corp? - Help.com

lol Job corp sucks, you will hate it, well i guess it depends on the area but its basically filled with people who didnt make it in life , I went to one and i almost left the same day but I just stuck with it cause i didnt finish high school either, I got my high school diploma and a computer trade in 6 months. but prepare to become a slave during that time. I met like 4 okay people while i was there to but i have heard there are some okay ones.

Just you have to wake up mon thru fri at a certain time or you get in trouble, you go to dinner when they say and lunch. You cant leave campus its like being stuck on a small piece of land but Im just telling you how mine was I have heard some people say their job corp was awesome. At mine they would check your closet/locker and take out video games and stuff you weren’t suppose to have

sorry I went out for dinner, Um I went there about 3 years ago and I got my diploma and graduated before my friends did thats the only useful thing, the trade I got which is computer service tech was only good for knowledge and I have not found work for it yet and all the other people I have talked to that went there hasnt either. Basically go to job corp if you want to get a ged or diploma quickly and easily so you can move on.

for weekends you have to sign up for a weekend pass which means you can leave for the weekend but have to be back before 7pm on sunday if not you get into trouble

well im sure a JC around you might be better cause of where you live, give it a shot you can always leave

I live in Florida so I went to the one in Jacksonville Fl. It was horrible at first but I met some chill people and made it through and plus my roommates where actually the coolest people on campus. I was really lucky.
