Please Help Me.

I paid for a download of software when my machine started flashing, saying I had critical viruses. The icon for the spyware was on my desktop and was activated. The icon has now disappeared and I cant find the software. Is this a scam - it cost me 60.00 GPB? I was emailed the Licence Code and have sent the company an email but I’ve not heared anything from them. SO, IS THIS A SCAM AND HAVE I BEEN RIPPED OFF - thank you

yes you should always get softwares from a trustworthy site and a trustworthy/well known company. im sorry to say but simply your machine is finito and just try to sell the parts and see how much you get for each. Im sure the case will be valued more then the damage thats within your operating system. good luck buddy

You paid for it meaning a pop up came up telling you to insert info or you bought it from a store like staples?
If you meant a pop up- Inserting your info was a bad move. That’s how our poor 3 year old Dell died.

You have been ripped off. Call your credit card company and tell them to stop payment.
