Hiya :)

I am a mother of 3 young boys.

A blood blister is just where the skin has bin pinched and blood has collected under the skin.
You are best off leaving it to heal on it’s own.
If it is a young child you will find that simply putting a plaster/bandaid on it will do the trick.

It is nothing to worry about as there is no actual open wound.

How big is it?

Oh I see :)

You will be fine, just leave it alone, don’t add pressure to it and do NOT try to pop it, it will heal on it’s own.

It may be sore for a little while but nothing to worry about.
