Weight help: I am fat. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

I am fat.

I have always battled my weight, and was at the lowest weight I have ever been in my life just before I conceived my son (fancy that).

I have since balooned again up over 100 lbs, and am obese. The daddy is long gone and I have two jobs and a baby to take care of. I can’t stop binge eating, I want to sleep all the time and I never have any energy. I want to loose the weight but I can’t seem to turn off the auto pilot that stuffs my face or muster up the energy to beat the apathy. Help!

Just do it! Your negative because your thinking negatively. Start thinking you can and you will… If you have time to do something, do something that you will benefit from, not something that will hurt you like eating unnecessary food.

ok well darling.. you have two jobs.. a son to take care of and worry about 24/7.. AAAND you do it alone.. ofcourse your tired.. i would suggest taking some multi vitamins from vitamin world or a GNC somewhere.. and that will help with the being tired and no energy all the time… and then its up to you like anonomous said above… all it takes is a positive and “can do” attitude…

thank you both. I have been taking alot of 5 hour energy shots, but hadn’t thought about the vitamin issue - I’ll look into that and maybe some fish oil in the morning. I have a Dr appointment on friday and I’m going to ask her if she van help me with some antidepressants or something in the mean time.

Make you problem an opportunity. Try to walk around to solve issues, do your tasks by your self. Like making feed of baby and taking him/her out. Take your baby to park and play together on weekends. Try to walk to your job place rather than being on four wheeler. Take Chinese tea in intervals, it burns fat and increase blood circulation.
You will end up with a very tired day but you had worked a lot by doing nothing.

u should keep ur self occupied.channel ur energy in finding a hobby, like for instance being a member at the gym and also socializing, spending more time with the baby, just taking ur mine off of eating basically.its a physcological thing and a bad habit in which u have broken ur self into allowing ur mine to tell u that ur hungry all the time, which may not be so .i know its not easy in keeping the weight off ,but u should accept ur self and the fact that ur big boned and u should also motivate ur self or look towards something or someone who motivates u,and dont be depress over the fact that ur husband as gone becuz that can be one of the factors why u resolve in eating alot and it can also be stress as well.build confidence in ur self.now what u should do is try keep off the weight by exercising and having a good diet ;eat alot of protien becuz our body does not store much protein.but even though our body does not store protein we need carbohydrates which stores as fat in our bodies so that we can burn or convert fat into energy.so eat mostly protien in the days and then have a least one or two carbohydrates for the rest of the day.basically ur tricking ur mine in making ur body believe that ur intaking a lot of carbohydrate in which really ur intaking mostly protein.but as long as u train ur self to have a small intake of carbohydrates a day u’ll be fine.u should also fine a nutritionist to help u with ur diet r see a doctor about this matter
