Are not happy with a career choice you made? Are you trying to make a decision if you want to be a physicist? Just wondering why you made this post.

yay some support :) lol. But in all seriousness its a hard and intensive job which in order to do really well at you have to put a lot of time in usually at the expense of other things in your life. It can be quite lonely, Its not impossible to have a good social life and relationships as well, but it can be difficult. But then i guess there are other professions the same. From my personal experience i gave up all social life to do well at it….. It was a lonely existance but i did really well. Im trying to find more of a balance tho, so there is hope poster

My psychiatrist is nice. He says I will be well soon, like in about 20 years or so. He is rich and handsome. I go to him three times a week in hopes that he will like me back. I make up all kinds of kinky stuff for him to hear. I love him.
If you believe this, you’re all crazy.

Are you trying to tell me there are no pretty grad students working at Bern or at Fermi lab? I don’t believe you, and they will also be the brightest ones in the field!! I’ve seen a lot of scientists at work and let me tell you it is not all work and no play. Plenty of action in the lab and at the clubs afterward. Plus, they have flexible hours working in a researchy fields. I’ve visited Fermilab and Argonne, they’re HOT! Sure, you’ve got to produce some research papers, but we’ve all got to produce something in our jobs.

fermi lap 10% ARgonne 10 % and the rest what about them ….

i dont know about the post but i think it is real in some ways “no money no girl”

but you have to consider it like a self sacrifice and you will feel great even when every one laughing at you and you see the chics playing on you
they consider you as a geck that is fine you can choose mathmatic and have

like some people i know a programing company that is ok … and you will have money and girl

hahahahhhhh not true

You’ve got a phd, right? Spend some of your time teaching and hanging around the university. Lots of girls there and a change of pace.

PhD and a girl hang out with you for the degree is illegal…

and not a moral thing to do

what about selling the degree that will be better

the fact tooooooooooooooo much work ….. no money in return

hahahahahhaha LOL

The girl doesn’t hang out with for the phd, and you don’t become a member of her phd committee. She hangs out with you because you are smart and knowledgeable and hopefully you’re fun, too.

no my friend she will not … this is not a real thing it is just a 10% of reality too

it is not moral to hang out with a student … you are a teacher after all

Do you know how many young professors have married former students? A university is more like a workplace, it isn’t like an elementary school. All the people who are there are adults and they form all kinds of relationships.

no it is not like this and i know how married former students but ..
