As long as it is in accordance with God’s will. I would suggest though that you pray to know his will instead of that…
Sure, why not? I dont see the harm in it but you are also given the ability to go and pursue this fellow. Do it. If hes a jerk than no but if he treats you well then yes and If you say deep down hes nice but just dosnt show it then no.

I’ve been praying for God to give me confirmation that it is okay to pray this prayer… is that the same as asking to know His will?
Do it. I think God like any kind of prayer.

Sure!
Well I have to say that any prayer that is inside of God’s will, WILL get results! I have a story on this… I prayed for my husband… SERIOUSLY.
I was so fed up with the dating scene being a single mom, and guys thinking that single moms are an easy target… I went down on my knees and prayed to God to send me someone who loves me for me, and respects the kids… and who is a Christian!!!
Weeeell, three months later, I went out with my girlfriend, I wasn’t going to go, cuz I was tired of the scene… anyway I went, was going to go home early, when a guy came up and asked my friend to dance… she said no… then he asked me… well I said no, but he persisted… we exchanged phone numbers… and we couldn’t spend time off the phone from eachother! but this budding relationship had it’s challenges… but right away he revealed he was a Christian… and that sealed it… I knew, and didn’t let go… we broke up and got back together so many times, I don’t have enough hands to count… but I kept praying, and God was faithful… my now hubby ( of almost 10 years) at the time we were dating, didn’t hear God the way I did, and was unsure, he thought I was a crazy chick at first… but the more he pulled away, the closer God brought us closer together through circumstance… it’s amazing.
So yes, the only way is to pray with God’s blessing and guidance. Stay strong, and faithful…God will bring someone into your life that compliments you, and that is evenly yoked with you… but be prepared to work at it… a relationship will not be cemented by God alone… the both of you have to work at it, just like anything else, and it won’t be easy… but with God… all things are possible!
Thanks for the invite!
I don’t see anything wrong with it, I actually find myself praying the same about my boyfriend. But in my opinion, if it isn’t meant to be, it isn’t going to happen no matter how many prayers you pray.
Thanks for this. I hope that this is truly meant for me as I struggle with the same question and read your reply- you sound just like me! I hope to God, that it is His will for me to read your story and be inspired as I am in this moment. May God bless you either way.
