All depends on where you are from and the resources available. In the US there are state programs that will help you without charging. You have to ask a local doctor or just call one of the local facilities and see when they can set up an appt. If you are in dire straights, go to an emergency room and tell them you are. They will know the resources and find a place for you. You can have an evaluation done and maybe get help on an out-patient program. If you are contemplating suicide or harm to others you need to go now, and tell them the truth.
