Health clinic project help for school?
I have this project for Health in my school. I must make my own clinic, including name, type, who will work there, the whole enchilada; I also have to make a blueprint of where my lab, cafeteria, reception desk, etc… will be as well.
Now, I’ve been trying to think of what type of clinic I should do, (Like cancer, AIDS, etc), and I’ve come up with something that’s a bit unique.
I want my clinic to be like the CDC in Atlanta,GA, but instead they can:
1. Treat you at the clinic if you wish.
2. Diagnosed and given recommendations to other hospitals/clinics that can take care of you.
3. I’m still thinking of something…
So here’s what happens when you enter the clinic:
1. You tell the receptionist that you believe you are infected with some sort of contagious disease, like, for example, swine flu.
2. The receptionist then takes your information, saves a copy into the clinic’s references, and sends another copy to CDC so they can decide what to do; While we wait for the CDC, you are admitted into the patient’s ward and (basically) examined and then placed in a patient’s room for further inspection(?)
3. When the CDC has replied back with what type of ‘treatment’ they wish the clinic to do, the clinic then does it….
4. Once the ‘threat’ has been treated efficiently, you are free to go home. No “lock-you-up-in-padded-room (email removed)
And that’s basically it. Now my real question is:
What TYPE of clinic would this be considered as? Like cardiology clinic, etc…
