Any anti-virus program worth having should be able to detect key loggers. Just make sure it’s updated and then run a full scan.

The best way to get rid of a keylogger is to turn off your computer.

nope - that does nothing, unless you either
a) never turn the computer back on
or maybe b) have a /very/ basic variant

go and get spybot - that takes 90% of them

hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and look under processes for anything you don’t recognize. If under User it has your name, and you don’t know what it does, google it.

Do this ^^^^^ after you run spybot search&destroy and restart your computer.. It’s less hassle
