Does anyone know if (all) waterproof digital cameras work in salt water?

Like Olympus brand, for example?

If it’s a waterproof camera, it should work in any kind of water.

Im sure they work but its likely that the salt will damage the coating of the lens in many cameras. Also it determines what depths your talking about, the deeper you go the more likely the damage.

You should check with the seller. Salt water will damage the seals in the camera if its not ratted for salt water. Hope this helps :-)

Not deep, just at the beach or like less-than-12-foot snorkeling. Do any of you have one you’ve used in salt water? Any good brand names besides Olympus?

i have Digital camera its not waterproof digital camera.its samsung and i use it at the beach and one day i fall into the beach and nothing wrong with it..
