Unsure about what to do.

I was at a 16th Birthday party last night and because i wasn’t well, i only went from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. When i got there I saw that most of the boys and a few of the girls were drinking alcohol (Magners cider). Some of them are only 15 and a few are 16 so they are underage. I was shocked, and considering that the party started 1 hour before i got there, the boys were on their 2nd drink. By 9.30pm when i left there was no Magners left, so they started drinking Coors Beer.

The question I want to ask is, should i do anything about it? Or am i taking it a bit to seriously? When my mum and dad found out they were really shocked and i feel that i should do something but i don’t know?
Any advice??
Thanks

p.s I did not drink any alcohol at all.

Ermm… well to be honest most people drink at this age. You aren’t going to stop people by telling them off for it.

I think what Estrella says is true. People drink at this age and they will only want it more when people tell them they can’t. Just be a good example and do not drink at a too young age yourself. I think their parents should take care of it themselves.

Your parents might say something to the host’s parents. It’s up to the adults. Stay out of it. Just do what you think is right for you to do. Let the adults handle this.

It’s hardly a ’shock-horror!’ situation. This is what most teenagers do at parties, I know my friends do. It’s not like they were forcing you to join in or anything, so it’s their problem really.
