that Great Britain has racial harmony? Why do you think this?

(This is for a school project I have to do & it says that I need to ask other people. I’m in a public library & don’t reeeaaaallly want to go & ask a random stranger that question.)

It means (straight from dictionary.com): People of many nationalities living and working together in peace.

to tell u the truth i’ve never seen uk myself,but i have a lot of relatives who resisit there,according 2 them i can say:YES!!
i’ve never heard of any complaining about uk especially that almost all of my relatives r muslims…what do u think?!?u urself,do u think this happens there or not?!

I’m not sure. There’s still a lot of racism (from both sides) in parts of GB, but I think that you probably get that wherever you are. It’s also a lot better than it used to be.

u know i myself think if the amount of racism wasn’t tolerable no one would immigrate…so when there r still people who immigrate to GB,that amount of racism is ok…on the other hand the conditions of where people come from 2 England is important,i mean if u resist in HELL!! u don’t mind racism…so generally what i said is not worthy!! :)

my brother says GB itself is made of diffrant races so there is harmony,he said GB’s flag is a mixture of Scotland & England…if u need more historical info let me know,i’ll ask him :)

Racial Harmony is promoted, however, I think that most people tend to stick to their own kind. For example, the Indians stick with the Indians, etc. People tolerate other races, but in every society there are places and people who do not like or can not handle harmony.

I have lived in several places in Scotland and England and have found some places to be very different. Where I live now has little or no cultural diversity and the people here do not have much perception of living in a mixed race society.
