religion help: Hello, - Help.com

Hello,

I am currently in a bind. I am religiously clueless. I am a college student who believes in the christian god… but right now I am lost. I am almost finished my associates in a degree i have little interest for. I also have little interest for any other degree. I just chose one and stuck to it. Right now I am having difficulties making decisions. I am asking for help from god, but not hearing his answers. I do not know what my calling is and how I should occupy my time. I want to get a degree and be successful and make my god proud. I just don’t know how to do it. Any tips for finding yourself. I am so lost. I have spent most of my life living in this comfortable situation… and now it does not feel like home anymore.

well that would be why youre having a hard time hearing god, because hes just peachy to have around in the good times, but he always seems to disappear when the going gets tough and tell you what doesnt kill you makes ya stronger.
so, if you really want some spiritual advice, there it is: what doesnt kill you makes you stronger, seek god in the dark blady blablabla.
but if you want some real advice:
get out there. go live. go travel. find out what excites you. what your passion is. what makes you tick, what drives you. then do that.
THAT is how you will find happiness and fulfillment in your life. not on your knees with a defunct useless old book in your hands.

You know i don’t agree with everything you say but i agree with the last paragraph for sure :)

Sometimes God seems distant and it is then that ur faith is tested. Keep true 2 ur beliefs- God isn’t gonna let u do the wrong thing!
