I have been getting quite close with this boy lately, i think i am begining to like him, and i know he feels the same way.

The only problem is, is that i am just 16, 17 in a few weeks and he is 21. I dont know how my mum would feel about it and my older sister isnt impressed as she used to be friends with this boy. I dont know what to do because i know its really wrong as there is such a large age gap and he should be dating girls his own age, but him and his friends (who me and my friends have become close with) dont really act that old and me and my friends seem to share the same interests as them. What shall i do?

id say try it out for a little bit, nothing too serious. just see if it works, if it doesnt you can back out but keep it light so no one gets hurt

i say go for it. This is cliche but love knows no boundaries and its definitely not bound by age. However, know that your relationship will be under alot of scrutiny and doubt coming from your family and friends. If anything think of it as a trial and as long as you dont let it come between you and your relationship it will help your relationship grow stronger.
