Help.com help: I’m addicted to this site. - Help.com

I’m addicted to this site.

It is as if I keep seeking something out on here that can’t possibly be captured. You know what I mean at all? It is as if I am waiting for a magic fairy to pop out of the screen and solve everything in my mind & life every time I log on here. I get great advice at times that does indeed help but sometimes I am just left more frustrated because I didn’t get responses that did all the work for me. Crazy I know. Anyone else relate?

I too am addicted. I search and search reading people problems. Maybe ones similar to my own hoping that what advice I read or that I can give to somebody fixes there’s. Either in an attempt to see how can deal with my own issues, or for the mere fact if I can’t fix my own maybe I can help somebody else out.

I always wonder though too if I come here and read other people’s problems as a way to view my own life as not being so bad. A way to feel better about my situation because it could be worse. Kind of like in the movie Fight Club where Edward Norton’s character goes to Cancer groups, NA,AA, etc…
