come on - its your homework! - work it out, otherwise you won’t learn anything!

This is how to CHECK the calculation

based on a mean average

257 + 304 + 198 = 759

759 / 3 = 253

thats how its checked, now go and check your notes to figure out how to actually work it out!

If the average attendance was 253 a total of 759 people went to the cinema. 257 went on friday and 304 went on saturday. 257 + 304 = 561. so a total of 759 people went to the cinema (309 + 257 + sundays attendence) or 561 plus sundays attendance. Therefore 759 - 561 = sundays attendance = 198. Hope explaining this helps you work things out in the future. x x x
