Boredom help: I’m feeling sad again. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

I’m feeling sad again.

for nothing in particular. I just want to get out of this stupid teenage angst thing, it’s really eating me up.
and it isn’t really getting better. I’m losing interest in art, which I’ve always loved. So basically, now that I don’t have art, I linger around.
or more so, go to school, go to art school.. take my once a week aerobics. besides that, pure lingering.. sitting behind the comp ( like now) and tv.
absolutely pointless.
I need to find some inspiration. Something to keep me going.
Maybe you could tell me what you like to do, so I could get ideas?

Well now I feel rubbish, lol. You have more going on than I do!! hehe.

Erm so I used to do karate, that was great. Excersize and confidence was great to be getting regularly.

Not sure how old you are, but how about a part time job? Or something voluntry? Or get a dog? I know that sounds lame but I got a dog 3 years ago and she has helped me in so many ways. You could then take the dog to training lessons, lots of walks etc. Just suggestions, hope this helps.

find another sad individual in your life like yourself and do dedicate as much energy as you can into lifting that person up.

yea, actually I’ve really thought about a part time job, or volunteering. but then again I’m going to school, and that in itself already tires me a lot.

I can’t get a dog, or not many animals at that. I’m allergic to them ):
Even the bunny I’ve got at home, I’m allergic to him a little.
It really ****, ’cause I can’t even hold him for a long time. and he kinda misses the attention too.

Yeah, thank you for your help!. Hmmmm karaateeeee………………. actually that sounds like fun. self defence is always good, even with the short, kid-kinda look I’ve got going on.

not a bad idea, though I don’t know how to start conversating. I always end up in awkward silences when talking to new people.

well it doesn’t feel the same, but they are made from the same follicules (or however thats spelled) anyway, they are basically anti-allergy dogs which is why I chose her breed.

They don’t grow very big and don’t need very long walks but if you want to they are more than happy to oblige lol. They are very loyal and loving, its like having kids. I’ve met a few people who have Bichons, they all treat them as if they are like children.

There are loads of things you can do, I don’t mean to go on about dogs sorry lol.

Well i’m very boring.. I like playing on the pc & watching tv, I like going to the park with my dog and going for walks. I’m going to Santa Pod this weekend, don’t know where your from but its a place in england for a drag racing event - which isn’t that fun but there are lots of stalls and attractions that are pretty interesting. My family also have a small holiday home in north wales that I go to quite a lot, and when i’m there I go on the beach a lot and do a bit of rockclimbing…

I’m not really a good person to ask. I’m a bit boring lol. But meh, i’m happy being boring. I work all the rest of the time so that sucks the life outta me a bit!!

Where are you from?
