sorry i dont know how to do the pi sign on a keyboard.

find the distance between the pair of points. also, find the midpoint of the line segment joining them.

(pi, 8), (pi/6,0)

Have a look at some youtube math lessons.

There are quite a few on distance and midpoint formulae. Maybe you could find something that would help you?
