Ok, i don’t really know why i am posting this but, i think i am just lost and scared.

I had blood tests taken 1 week ago and just phoned up the results, i was told that they were ok, but 1 wasn’t and i had to see the doctor. I am really scared and don’t know what to think.
I have had bloods taken before, and the results were all normal and fine. But i think this time being told that they are ok and one isn’t has just scared me. I have so many problems and just adding another to the pile doesn’t help.

Sorry for this, i think i just had to let it all out.
Thanks

What are your other problems?
It sounds you want the bloodwork tocome out negative. to justify how you are feeling.
Are you willing to perhaps talk about it?

is fine :)

many blood tests are taken, and all it means is that someones going to have a closer look at it, because the original bod wasn’t sure about /something/

this could be anything from he sneezed on the computer screen, or he had something in his eye

most of these 2nd checks do come back as all clear, so i wouldn’t worry :)

(bear in mind if for arguments sake, there wasn’t this 2nd check, bod 1 says “you’ve got aids!, then it gets checked, and they were wrong - you DONT have aids… sorry! - their arses would get sued so hard even their grand mothers would be feeling it! :P )

concentrate in sorting out your other problems, and worry about that one when you need too :) - its almost certainly nothing - just a lab bod with a cold! :D

I think you were hoping the blood test would give you an answer to what is wrong and be able to have a solution to feeling better. I get that way too, you are happy nothing showed up, but disappointed that you still do know why you feel the way you do.

What is the doctor saying at this point? What are the issues you are having?

The blood test wouldn’t change what is wrong with me, or give me any answers. The doc wasn’t going to take them, but my mum wanted to check that i was ok with all these tablets i am on

I’m sorry to hear you have lots of health problems.

But it’s a mistake to hope that something will go right in your life. When you wait for things to happen or go right, you are often disappointed.

The only way to be sure something will go right in your life is to choose some tiny goal and work to make it happen. And then you’ve made something go right. And you do it again and again as you take on more goals.

Bad things happen, period. Good things are made to happen. Take action and you will make good things happen. Passivity leads to anxiety, depression, etc.
