Ah. Had the same problem during the week. In the end I just went into the hair salon and asked for their advice. Am delighted with end result. You could always try that
Thanks. Yeah I know i could do that but im afraid they might just wind up doing something I wouldnt like even if it looks good on me. It does have to fit my tastes and personality after all and like i said i went through thousands of hairstyle pictures onnline and only found a few I liked and a few others that I liked that I didnt think would work on me but would be good inspiration.
It would depend on your face structure.. [i.e. heart shaped, oval, etc.] You should figure out what yours is before considering anything.

I tried many times to figure it out. I seem to be like a oval but sometimes it seems like im a heart(aka inverted triangle), and other times i almost seem like a diamond so i just pretend im an oval lol
There’s plenty of articles about it.. You should also try measuring your face, you know.

I have tried measuring but i cant find the precise spots to measure. Every time i get different results on my face shape and i have a different shape at different angles. My face is one and one half times its width at my cheek bones. My jaw is only slightly smaller than my cheek bones and im not sure about my forehead, it seems to be either same size as my cheekbones or slightly wider. o_O

..Can you give me the exact measurements? Maybe I could help you, I’m pretty neat at that stuff :p
Exact measurements dont really dictate how someone looks though and i dont have anything to measure with >.> if i tilt my head downward i look heart shaped, back slightly and i look oval lol i have a strange face XD i bet its just oval but my jaw is more like that of someone who is heart

I would need to know how much difference in inches/centimeters there is in different parts of your face.

nope it does exist i found it seems im a diamond which is a cross between an oval and a heart shape bceause my chin is slightly pointed and my forhead is about the same size as my cheekbones lol

well part of that pattern curve came from the fact i havent looked into celebrity hairstyles yet considering they are very hard to search for good pictures and they change thier hair often so i only stuck with stuff i saw by googling hairstyles then browsing sites with hairstyles and pick out the ones i liked then i got tired of that and looked up “scene hairstyles” and “emo hairstyles” and picked the rare few that looked decent when the rest look ugly. Thus the half and half of one style versus the others.

I don’t know. To be honest with you. I’m not at all into that style of hair. To me it’s a kiddy trend. But that’s just it, it’s what I think. However that guy on the Dev…HOT HOT HOT! Lol. But not every day! Guys that go all out on their hair seem self obsessed :D:D That said…My current partner just have a wacky cut though it doesn’t require maintenance so it’s all good. I like stuff like when they have pretty long hair but shave the bottom half of their head. Or Keith Flint type style.

Yeah I know its kinda a part of a trend but seriously before then it was all shagg and surfer cuts with guys which looked really similar only wavy and i liked that too. Im pretty far from self obsessed, i have low self esteem. If you just ignore all those labels and stuff its just hair with nice bangs that are sideswept just like any other style could look. If you want a trend look at the guys who still get mowhawks because they think its punk to do it even though a large number of punks dont seem like they have done any punk actions to change the government or anything. Also theres those guys who got the fauxhawks.. and i mean like every guy had them almost it seemed which didnt belong to any subculture or anything but they all did it because they thought it was cool yet somehow they didnt get labeled… well except by the punks who called the hair chicken hawks lol. If someone got a selebrity haircut then thats really just a trend too because people copy celebrities so peple will think they look like them. Its really funny how people think that if something is like that it belongs to be labeled as a trend when the whole world is nothing but trend followers.

im 22 haha so its kinda obvious im not trying to follow a trend, i just kinda like the hair. I did have a lot of other styles in thier too but i swear a lot of styles just either are attempts to make someone look like a celebrity they arent or if cut wrong they look like a person out of some other date in time thats long gone xD
I think one of the problems of getting a good opinion on if the hair looks good or not with me is based on how they feel about trends and steriotyles rather than looking at it as just hair.

I love the mohawk. Absolutely love it. I love most hair. Even emo hair, looks good for arts / photography. But how on earth could you do your weekly shop without being able to see LOL :D

i know but it was the only easy way to search it because a lot of styles have names like a caecar cut, a low and tight, a buzz cut… its just a name used to describe a style. lol i wasnt trying to label.
lol i wouldnt cover over my eye, thats how. Just have it brush the top of my eyebrow so i dont look so angry because of my low brows (also i herd bangs draw attention to the eyes which is another reason i considered it) :p

grow it out? my hair is already past my chin and in the back it goes between my shoulder blades.. its just completely unkept looking and it sticks out really bad b ecause my hair doesnt curl right so i wear it in a pony tail with some hair hanging in the front now.
I didnt say i had to stick to that style.. thats why i had those other hairstyles listed because they were examples of other hairstyles i liked. As long as its different from what i currently got and is kinda like any of the different types of styles i looked at so far its probably good. I only listed the mo and scen styles first is because they are my favorites but didnt put them on my top list of what i would prefer getting because im very up in air weather im better with my hair, short or long, straight or currly, up or down, spiked or natural.
asian guys have a different hair type than white males though and often thier styles are slightly similar to female hairstyles in the us, some kind of proportion thing they do or something. lol

Im still trying to get a good hairstyle to get my hair cut to and does anyone know how to design original hairstyles, like a program or something? nothing I find seems to be perfect and i seem to have a very divided view on things so I was thinking of how can i know what would look right. A program would be best. I could have drawn but im not good at drawing hair. Written guidelines for fitting to personality and facial structure would help too I suppose. I really do love scene hair and some emo hairstyles but they can look hidiously ugly at times and i dont think it would work on me so i was going to just combine them with different other styles. Im a guy by the way lol Ive looked at like thousands of pictures and thats what a lot of thigns i like look like… feel free to post really good hairstyles of other types here though because i am open as long as its interesting
