I’m not really sure what you want or what exactly you are doing it on so i wrote this out as a broad outline of an opening paragraph: In a society that is becoming ever more aware of our effects on the environment, the need for renewable and importantly sustainable sources of material and energy has never been of a higher concern. In order for us accomplish this task and supply adequate products for an energy conscious consumer market, the textiles industry has implemented numerous technologies and techniques. Such things as… has helped us ensure the continuity of… It is with these that the textiles industry can assist in the environmental conservation of our planet.
I don’t know how much of that applies so I mentioned a few things. Hope it helps :)

Well the word means like to continue to exist. Nowadays it is most often associated with the environment and the damage we are doing to it. It to basically make sure we don’t run out of stuff by giving it time to grow back. So if we wanted to cut down trees from a forest in a sustainable way we would have to cut only a few down and plant some more to grow back in place of the ones we’ve taken. That way the forest will have just as many trees as before and we won’t run of out trees to cut down.

The word has a fairly broad meaning so the subject of ’sustainability in textiles technology’ may refer to something that as nothing to do with the environment, I just assumed it did. So either what i’ve said is of some help or none at all. Good luck lol
