As soon as possible, the United States and I will be parting company.

I’ve done my part; I’ve been more than patient. The election gave me some hope. But there are simply too many fundamentalist, conservative knuckleheads around to allow any progress.
“Love it or leave it”? I have; I’ve fed it, picked up after it, diapered it, wiped its bottom, supported it, obeyed its laws, paid my taxes, supported myself, and have zip all to show for it.
I’m one of the lucky ones. I actually have someplace else to go.
