Money help: Who pays for the date?

Who pays for the date?

Now, my father has talked to me about the olden days and says it was always the guy. However! times have changed and my opinion differs from that. My opinion is, whoever calls the date should pay (guy asks the girl out, he pays. girl asks the guy out, she pays). But what do you think? I’m eager to hear your opinions.

I think its all in who asks and how. if the girl says “want to go with me to… or Im takeing you to… ” then she should be willing to pay. if however the guy asks then he pays and if the girl for some reason is feeling flirty or humorous or whatever and asks “want to take me to… or want me to be your date for…” then I think this implies that the guy should pay. the adendum to all of this is the guy should be willing to bring a few extra bucks along that way even if it is understood that she is the one paying, he can pay for them both should the opportunity or the desire present itsself.

Help me with: the issue is family pictures..
