ok ive got a question for you..

A couple of months ago i noticed a dent in my tooth and i knew i had to have a filling but it didnt hurt me so i didnt go i thought it would heel itself like cuts, hair and broken nails and bones etc.. well anyway im here now (still havent been) and it still hasnt been hurting me (touch wood) but i have just noticed some white in my tooth kind of like a second piece of tooth inside where i needed my filling.. so my question is this is it actually possible for my tooth to heal itself? i dont know how deep it was it was quite deep but my bf said if it was like severe i would no about it and would be in alot of pain.. im so confused help please :)

Im not a dentist, everything I say here comes from my own limited experience here. and thus is subject to interpretation and maybe even ridicule. there are a few possibilities here, first of all, tooth enamel does not regrow. at can be protected or maybe even eventually restored through other means but it doesnt heal itsself.

That in mind you might want to get it checked out one scenario that makes sense is that you never actually lost that tooth and now you have another one trying to grow underneath it. another one is it has been chipped and as yet the root isnt exposed.

teath do NOT normaly heal them selfs
there is an enamel you can use to fill it like an expoy or something, but it has to be ultra clean before you can seal it yourself
novacain is a pure drop you can buy from an older drugstore or order special online
i know u said it dont hurt,,,but if it does start hurting you will wish to God you knew what to do,,trust me
sensodine is a pain relieving tothpast i use the colgat version thats cheeper and whitens,,,tasts better to

teeth doesn’t repair themselves, once broken it will remain, you should go see a dentist while it’s fixable
