I have a problem with dad

He always keeps asking me to take up a good job and earn more. Are we given birth only to earn for and do what our parents want? Why do people have children ?? To work for them :-s?

I’m predicting that like a general dad, he cares about you. You should tell him this pressure of a good job is bothering you. I have this problem too. Mine doesn’t go away though, so I have to ignore them and stick to my guns. I maintain low paying jobs while I work on science alone, just as I prefer it.

You also may not know yet what you wanna do, so you’ll have to take some time to think about it here and there, it doesn’t have to be a huge project. People enter college who are still not sure about what they wanna do.
