Is face shape seriously that important when picking a hairstyle?

I mean I cant even figure out what mine is because no matter how much i try i cant decide if its a oval or a heart(a.k.a inverted triangle) or if its a diamond. Each article i read says totally different things on the sujestions for hairstyles of those shapes too. So is thier even a point? All just to make my head look like an oval if it isnt? I mean if i cant figure out the shape then no one can so whats the problem? lol (ima guy btw)

lol i know this is stupid but i seriously have other hair posts as usual and my main one is here below but this one is an adition to it.. help for the sake of boredom and attempt to rais my self esteem! xD

LoL, yes your facre shape is something to think about when picking a hairstyle, same as your body shape determines what kind of clothes you buy I mean someone with a pear shaped body would not look good in a mini skirt the same as someone with a triangle shape face would not look good in a square bob..
