Just read the first page or two but that was actually a real eye opener and has made me feel a whole lot better about myself. (:
Gonna assume you’re a guy… I know right. I am really big into the gym, I got down to around 8% BF (bodyfat) last summer then realized I was too small (weighed 125, ouch I’m 5′6″) and have been trying to pack on mass for the last 3 months. Its going OK I suppose, but I have gained some pudge with my muscle gains. But yea I am just gonna continue the course until I get up to like 155-160 pounds then I am going to lean up and hopefully have a target weight of somewhere around 145 @ 8-10% bf. But I suspect I will be around 137-140.
Its just funny because I know I have more expectations of what the male body should look like. I don’t know if its a competition thing being a guy vs other guys or if somehow I think it’s normal to look like a A&F model due to society?
i agree there with the main post at the link. a completely muscular/ripped body really turns me off. eeeek.
i think i like the swimmer’s body a little bit. you know, very lean but not really big on muscles. you just know that the guy’s working out and healthy, but not overdoing it.
guys can do so much better in dressing up though. some guys have great bodies (in my opinion) but doesn’t know how to dress up to adequately highlight his shape. on the other hand, some guys don’t have great bodies but can dress really well so he looks great all in all.

I know what you mean. I used to spend a lot of time on my bike when I was younger so I’m not in too bad a shape (even though I don’t bother much these days) but I just get this constant nagging feeling that I should be down at the gym all the time toning this, that and the other.

Women’s opinion on the male body. Anyways, just stumbling through nutritional plans and found this link to cosmo and it’s about womens opinions on what the perfect male body is. I was wondering what you all have for insight?

Alright sorry for the ****, but see first pick A) a fat guy then in B)he lost weight to be fit, but still has pudge. He doesn’t look great, but not bad. He has alright muscle mass under the fat so when he loses another 10-15 pounds he’ll be good.
C)he has a lot of muscle mass, but he’s not shredded, but still looks good. (can improve)
D)Looks good, kinda skinny muscle wise, F) needs to improve on his shoulders, good lower abs. Almost the same BF as D, but different abs.
G) and H) are way skinny
I) The guy is probably 5′4″ and has a lot of muscle for his size. Looks good, but maybe a little too much muscle. Id get that big though.
j) Ryan reynolds is the man in Blade trinity
Anyways not sounds weird, but with the pictures I am just curious what is ideal for women.

long story… I went to the Wild wood board walk with 2 girls and we were drinking and they like were daring me to do it or something and I wasn’t going to then it turned into I was too scared to do it. well my drunk *** was so stubborn that I went through with it. It was actually quite funny. And just so you know actually a lot of girls liked it. Not sure why though.
Anyways I took them out a couple months ago. It was just a funny story. you would have to been there. But I was glad I was drunk or it probably would have hurt
And I wasn’t asking for D. I am asking more for body types. How fat can a guy be, etc…

i don’t think it’s like that exactly, but for example I work out. I don’t eat certain things because its not good for me. I expect the same from a women. Personally its more of a whole package deal for me, I don’t focus on boobs and ***. I don’t care about boob size or how big her hips are. I’m not into big *** actually
okay well theres lots of women who change their life cuz guys expect them a certain way.
example my 14 year old bro told his she was flat chested and needed to lose weight, she came to me asking hows te best way to throwup and if i can let her borrow my push up bras first of all i ont wear push up bras and never did second of all i have a nice body because i work out an eat right so i told her this and she followed my intrustions sum guys tell us girls were fat when were not not sayingu do but a lot do
plus my dad calls my mom fat when shes eating!
sorry i’m late! I actually think that I really care what guys look like. It’s not that i don’t see beauty in others, it’s just that i see beauty (or handsomeness, to use a more ‘manly’ word) in more places than a lot of people. i’d rather see people for what makes them unique, they’re good parts, their flaws, then see what society tells me is ugly or beautiful. i don’t feel like it’s quite right to think of people that way to tell the truth.

Couldn’t load the page. But I love a bit of pudge on a guy. And hairy torso. Just love it. Good muscles on arms. Pudged tum and normal legs! Ideal to me! Love getting that extra hug!
