computer issues

hey my laptop is being annoying. it running windows XP and everytime i turn it on it goes to the black screen with the white computer writing and has the options to start windows normally or in safe mode etc. whatever one i choose it starts to boot up and goes to the XP loading screen but then just goes back to the black screen with white writing!

can anyone help me figure out how to fix it cause i have important stuff on there i cant get off cause i cant access anything on it at all!

HELP PLEASE!

Go to safe mode. try to use a previous restore point and go back in time. Perhaps that will fix the problem.

or
2.
If that doesn’t work. uninstall your videocard driver at:
right click my computer - manage - device manager - Display adapters
Right click on the Grraphic cared and press remove.

or
3.

Pop your orginal XP CD in. Follow the instructions and choose REPAIR! this is very important or you loose all your data.

if i started it in safe mode a whole lot of writing would come up on screen, it would stay like that then go back to the original black and white screen. also happened when starting it with previous restore point.
i cant even access anything other than the black and white page so i cannot uninstall the videocard driver.
and if i put the original disk in nothing happens!

DO you have a recovery cd? or windows xp pro or home cd it’s most of the time a silver colour and oem is printed on it or retail. This is the orginal cd. either you download it from the web or borrow it from a mate.

In safe mode… when you say no don’t use restore point the screen turn black?

i cant do anything because the screen always returns to the black screen with white computer writing with the options of statrting windows normally or in safe mode etc
