I am in highschool right now and I am finding it hard to befriend people.

Last year I had two close friends but one of them had to transfer to a different school and the other friend has ditched me for another girl to be friends with. At my school everybody knows everybody and everyone knows who is friends with who. So if i go and try to be friends with someone else they might find it wierd for me to be hanging out with them all of a sudden. I am really shy so if I become mysteriously outgoing all of a sudden it will be really hard. What can I do to make new friends?

Yeah they might find it weird. Or they might think you’re really cool. Just get to know everyone just to say hello to. You’ll then sus out who you really wanna hang with.

They arent choosing you. You are choosing them.
