I need help with flash actionscript 2!

I wanna add upgrades to a flash shooter i made, but i dont know how. I also wanna expand, make stages. With diffrent bosses. Add a health bar to the player. Its sorta like galaga. Its VERY simple at the current state. Like BASIC. So basically i need a coach for actionscript 2
