Help!

I am a 6 foot tall female, age 55… thin all my younger years, but between the ages of 45 and 55 my weight creeped up. Got to 225, cut my calories in half (down to 1300), started walking a mile a day, bought a step/climber which I use twice a day religiously… lost 20 pounds over the first 2 months. Now I’m STUCK at 205 for the past 4 weeks. All my husband and I eat is protein, whole grain, minimal carbs from things like yogert and cereal. I’ve eliminated bread and desserts entirely. The only meat I eat is chicken and fish. Diet consists mainly of vegetables. Still walk everyday and use my step/climber. Very frustrated… any ideas?? Thanks, everyone ….

you’re jsut stuck at a plateau. Either you can just power through it. You’ll start losing again eventually in another week or two or you can carb up for 2-3 days to throw your body off a little and then get back on the low carb high protein diet. Should help out alot.

As I tell everyone here when they want to lose weight. Go to www.bodybuilding.com and click on their forums. They have so many people there that can help. a lot of info and great motivation.
