computer help: I have windows XP and everytime I try to restore my computer back to the way it was when I got it at the factory by using HP PC System Recovery. - Help.com

I have windows XP and everytime I try to restore my computer back to the way it was when I got it at the factory by using HP PC System Recovery.

It gives me an arror message that says. Cannot find log file Restore.log. What should I do?

use the recovery disk that came with your pc when you bought it

Should I use the recovery discs that I made a copy of. Windows XP does not come with a recovery disk. Also, should I put these in when it says install an operating system when i go to start then all programs then pc help&tools Hp Pc system recovery?

there is another simple way…try to use the repair option that usually you’ll find on F8 button pressed before your xp boot……or a new installation….and there you will find the same option…repair…
