SO I’m staying NYC at a friends place for a couple weeks while I look for a job and an apartment.

As I go through all the listings though I realize the only thing I’m qualified for are dog related stuff(seeing as how my mom is a dog trainer and I’ve been raised knowing all the “right” stuff to do). Theres plenty of things i’d be good at like waiting tables or like a nanny sort of gig(for some reason kids have always liked me). SO now I’m starting to get an overwhelming sense of dread and I want to cry but I’m in a crowded room. What do I do now?

dog walking is pretty good pay job, you should look into it for the mean time since you got experience.

indeed, especially walkin all the poncy peoples dogs on the upper east. or simply advertise yourself as a dog behaviourist. apply everywhere anyways, even if you dont have experiance someone might give you a break.
