I’m just feeling so low at the moment, I don’t know how to get myself out of this low im in.

I finished my degree in June and still have no proper job. The only job I have is a weekend job at the local supermarket which is soul destroying! I swear I don’t know how long I can last any more and I’m going to crack. Seriously I need help.

What’s your degree in?

All I can think of saying is look, look, and look. What do you do during the day/what are your living arrangements?

agreed, just keep on looking. ;)

the economy is terrible right now. i don’t know if it will make you feel better, but i graduated from my MBA right smack into recession. was jobless from april to august. now i’m only recently employed in a job i’m completely overqualified for, earning like a fresh grad/entry level employee.

just keep in mind that it beats doing nothing! for your future employers, they will see that you’d rather do a job that will pay the bills rather than sit around at home wallowing in “pride” as you’re too overqualified for any of the jobs available.

best of luck! everything will turn around, i promise. :)

Just give it time dude. I once spent a summer working as a telemarketer, so I feel ya, it was the lowest point in my life, nothing compares to a person’s capacity to hate a telemarketer, nothing.

Sometimes you have to make your own opportunities, so you might try that. In the mean time, roll yourself a fat one and have a beer, don’t stress about it.

Out of curiosity, what is your degree in?
