i don’t like how my life is going…

but i can’t get myself to change anything. i think about it, but i don’t have a drive for it. i sit there thinking ‘i hate this, i should do something’ but can’t get myself to get up and do it. my home is very unorganized, dirty, trash everywhere and i don’t ever feel like cleaning up. i have a full time job and that’s enough to cover the necessities, but i have debt and there’s no way to pay that off unless i get a part time as well. i don’t have any drive for that ’cause it’ll most likely have to be a fast food or something like that for it to fit around my full time schedule-and that’s IF i even get one, w/ how the economy is. i’ve tried to get one before(fast food places/restaurants/stores) but i never got hired because i’ve never worked in one before therefore have no cash handling experience nor serving experience(my full time is at a call center, i’ve always worked in an office enviroment) so i’m not even sure how to go about that. i live w/ my sister and her bf, they don’t do anything around the house either(but we split the bills equally). makes me feel like i have to clean up after them and i’m not willing to do it, even if that’s not really true since the house has always been messed up. tips?

Dear Anonymous:

There is no easy solution for what you are going through. But, first of all, what I would do if I were you, I would simply write down one problem in a different cheet of paper. Remember, being able to structure the problems and isolate them is half way there… because each problem has a different solution.

Then, write down possible solutions for each problem… cleaning the house… the solution could be… you name it… you don’t have to do it, you just have to write it down… write as many solutions as you can for each problem, on each paper. then… hide those papers from yourself and put them inside a drawer for a week.

Then, a week later, on a moment where you feel good about yourself, ONLY when you feel good about yourself, a good day, a bright day, get those papers out and finally read the problem, and then the solutions. See what happens!!!!!
If you can’t do this, then it’s time to find someone outside of you to help you. It’s not shameful, it’s not bad, and it can help you alot!! Sometimes it’s not about if whether or not you can help your self, sometimes you are just too tired and you just need that extra person to encourage you to bring you up when you have fallen regardless of blame! Well, I wish you good luck… and may your heart pump joy once more in this world. Bye now!

What he said! That’s a really good idea. Try to motivate yourself. If you are unable to muster the energy to tidy up or look for a job, then you should find outside help. Just try something new. Start jogging in the park! Exercize gives you more energy and releases endorphans!!
