Yeah, I suffer from tempory bouts of it and I hate that so I can’t imagine what it is like to have it all the time, icky
yea, same. its ****** annoying as ****. i KNOW im gonna be frikkin knackered tomorrow, and i have a seminar to deliver, yet im so not tired right now. stupid brain.
Do you get it when you get really tired so you go to bed but as soon as your head hits the pillow your not tired anymore and want to get up and do something?
I get that alot.
yes!! im like, falling asleep in my chair, go and get ready for bed, get into bed, then cachinggggggg wide awake town here i come. and the more i try and focus on sleep, the more i think about random stuff that totally isnt important but seems SUPER important right then lol.
however rescue is in sight…in the form of a big fat joint just dropped into my lap.
passout village, here i come now :D
but dont do drugs kids. drugs are bad. and stay in school
My uncle had insomnia. He uses some ayurvedic medicines. Its much better he says. Do u want me to check out on that one….
The allopathy medicine for sleep is really not so advisable i guess…
It must suck. I am fortunate that I never had that problem. It wouldn’t help to do some exercise or yoga during the day time?
i suffer from it ocassionally but my bf suffers from it quite often lately, idk whats causing it but it does suck
it does suck.. i have it randomly as well.. :( when it’s mild i take camomille tea and when it’s not i have a glass or two of wine.. nothing else i can offer sorry :( but i didn’t sleep last night so.. my advice might be weird
F***** yes it does.
I take 2 tylenol and 4 antehistomens to go to sleep which together makes benadryl.
Thanks mom.
Try soma in the vitamin section of a pharmacy. It is a natural remedy.
Its a shame you dont live round where ive moved to because theres adverts on the underground for a medical study for insomniacs, could have made some money there.
its actually kinda useful at the moment to be honest, its finals season here lol. im sure after weeks of epic study and stress hopefully ill just collapse in bed after my last final and sleep for days :S
stress can be a huge factor when it comes to insomnia…I suffer from it periodically and usually comes along when there is a big account at work I must handle. Try to get an outlet for the pentup crap…a hobby that relaxes you, mine is running.
Yep… sporty sport’s the answer for me.
I’m no dyed-in-the-wool athlete and have a sedentary job. Stress-induced insomnia was my lot until I took up badminton: it’s fun, intensive and even if you’re crap like me you don’t spend too long chasing after the ball you just missed !
It’s been good for me in lots of ways, not least of which is that it gives me two good nights’ sleep a week.
Good luck with the exams BTW
LOl i love badminton!
thanks dood, exams did go well :)
glad to hear that :)
Yeah, just get yourself busy with your best hobby and when tou feel tired or stressed up, think about the things that make you happy, relaxed or extremely excited and you will find yourself in another world!!!
