I’ve been out sick and I don’t know how to solve my math homework.

I asked my friend to send me the work but now I can’t contact her and I can’t solve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, although I don’t want the answers, just how to solve it.

If A and B are the roots of the equation:
x(squared) + 3x - 5 = 0
Find the value of
(i) A+B
(ii) AB
(iii) (A+2)(B+2)

I’d simply use quadratic equation (or even my calculator haha) to solve for this but I think this explanation would best help you. It did help me when I read it hahahaha

Haha! I’m glad you found help =) I’m a little rusty on some of this.
