whats one thing in life that you have learned from your experiences?

like, what is a life lesson you have learned? how has something in your life influenced the way you go about your life? what things happened that shaped who you are?

im learning now that what you do today, is the factor for your future. you realize (often times) too late in life and regret it. it is better to work hard now and have a good future than to “party” now and suffer later.

thats many ive learned and im just 19

I really meant that I try to respect others because of always being told kind of snobbish standards about people when I was a kid and then I learned it wasn’t valid. But I would like to hear more of yours too.

I’ve learned from my experiences in life that unexpected things are always going to happen and that we truly have no control over some things so it’s best to just take each day as it comes and enjoy it to the fullest.

I’ve also learned that the only person I can speak for is myself, to own my thoughts and feelings with pride and embrace that which makes me human and uniquely me.

another one i have learned (i already knew this but it reinforced it)- that you need to treat your gf/bf, whatever as if you could lose them at any moment.

i dont feel like goin in debth with it, but me and my ex(first love) had to break up after 7 months because of her dad not wanting us to be together because of a 3 yr age difference. she called me when i was on vacation that we had to break up because her dad found out about it. we still loved each other and everything was perfect when we broke up.

I learned not to take anything for granted. That is probably one of my most precious experiences.

I have learned that even if you are f**ked up in a truly epic fashion, its no reason to destroy yourself. You are who you are.Your mistakes shape you.Embrace it.
