How do I an American go about going to college in the UK?

Like what kind of things would i need to do and how do I afford it or anything like that? How much does it cost? Do they make more money working over there? Im not deffinetly going to do this but im looking into the option.

So i can apply online? But what if i went to college in the US then ecided to transfer over to the UK then what?

lol….. It all depends on the school some schools accept online applications some will have you mail it in (but these days just about everyone has an online application)

If you start out at a school in the U.S. you can transfer to a school in the UK and your credits will go with you (its just like your transferring to another US school)

You can transfer to any school…but when doing so ask them whether their credits will be accepted as U.S. colleges because sometimes some courses may not transfer over…. But if its known university in the UK and not something like a community college you shouldn’t have a problem

How about you study abroad for a semester to see if you like it there before completely transferring…To study abroad you would have to go to your schools international office or go to admissions and they can point you in the right direction and usually the school will have a list of internationally school that are acceptable

I know they are called Unis but ive talked to people in the UK who say college also.Another thing to mention.. im 22 so does that effect anything? Would I have trouble fitting in with people? >_>

Oh so I can do it for a semester? Thats good because I would only wan to be there for a few months probably.

Yea, you can do it for only 1 semester (the term for that is studying abroad) I am going to try and go to Czech for 1 semester to study

No I don’t think you will have a hard time fitting in because the college age is normally between 18-24

I thought in the UK they started uni at like 16 or something
