theres no such thing as free legal music except itunes’ free single of the week

…but try limewire or bittorrent there might be free music there ;)

Microsoft has a live search club to promote their search engine. If you have any Microsoft account such as a Hotmail account, you can sign in and play certain games for tickets. Once you’ve saved up enough tickets, you can use them to download songs. There was one song I couldn’t find anywhere online, but I did this and managed to purchase it. One song costs about 105 tickets, which takes about 6 or 12 games to earn. The tough part is signing up with the music site. The worst part is the wait. It takes a while for them to process your ticket redemption.
