help me with vista gaming edition..

the problem is that i wanna install it right now but i dont wanna loose any of my programs in c or d or other hard disks.. im sure 2 gb ram is enough tho.. but please tell me do i have to format my whole c to install it? i dont wanna loose anything..

Use another hard disk. Or make a part ion in your current one. You can use a program called Partition magic.

A partition basically means for instance: you got a whole pie. You like this pie a lot. But you want another filling without damaging the shape. With the partition you basically slice the pie in half or numerous pieces. And fill something else of it.
