2001 Mercury LS Sedan Electrical Problems

My car seems to have a short somewhere, draining the battery while driving, or even when the car is off. I have replaced the battery and the alternator; I’ve even made sure no loose change has fallen into the cigarette lighter. I’m all out of ideas on how to trace down what the problem could be. Any suggestions?
