I feel so down after my little break from the everyday.
I basically had a senior skip day yesterday and it was one of the greatest days of my life. All day with the best of friends on this beautiful island, with tunnels and caves to explore and trees to climb and rocky beaches to splash around in…not even the awkwardness with the ex could ruin this, in fact it was the other way around. For that day it was just like old times, before we had ever been together, back when we had our epic poke wars, made silly music videos, and talked about everything from final fantasy to the meaning of life. But it was so perfect that reality is crashing in way too fast now. We’re on kind of rocky terms again, I’m already getting re-buried in schoolwork, I always end up alone on the weekends and since the breakup alone time tends to drive me nuts…and to top it off my college plans pretty much just flew out the window…
I dunno, it’s stupid to wish every day could be that perfect, I know I don’t have any really big problems and I should be happy enough with that…It’s just that here there’s so much pressure, and there, there was no pressure at all…you did what you wanted when you wanted. The contrast makes this side of life seem so ridiculous.
