everyone is pissed at me.

my friends baby shower was today and i was really sick throwing up and running a fever. Well i called her n let her know that i was gonna try to make it up there but i wasnt feeling good. she said thats fine dont come if i feel like crap. Well my sister went up there later on while i was resting and said everyone was mad at me cuz i wasnt coming. I dont mean to be rude but i cant help that I am sick. Am I in the wrong here? Any im always an amazing friend to all of my friends. I would be by there side in a minute but alot of times they arent there for me like i am for them. So what irritates me is the one time i cant be there they all get mad at me when i could have toonnnsss of times i could have been pissed at them but i let it go cuz thats what friends do. any adive would be appreciated!

Sounds like they haven’t been a real friend. To the same standard as you have. Just talk to them. If they don’t believe you. It’s there loss. Your a good person and was in the right! Just remember that

are you sure there’s no misunderstanding here? maybe they’re just joking or something. or maybe your sister wasn’t able to explain to them correctly. seems like a shallow reason to get mad at a friend…
