My ex boyfriend, now my friend, told me he just cut his wrists and almost killed himself.

I think it’s over his ex girlfriend, the one before me, for breaking his heart. i dont know what to do. he already went to many authorative people, and he said none helped.

what should i do?

He was to want to change before anyone can do anything. so just show your concern and how you care and let him know that things cant be all bad like that because it hurts you and others.

Tell him that many counsellors do things their own way, and that even if he didn’t find a perfect fit for him last time, that he might next time. It took me a while too, and I had switched 7 or 8 different times to see new people. I spent a LONG time looking for the right counsellor, and then after I found her, I only needed her for about 9 or 10 months. It really helped me IMMENSELY! Tell him to try again.
