I am in a really stressful period of my life,

many important decisions must be made , many important responsibilities I have , and there are important and maybe difficult things I have to finish to reach a higher stage in my life ( in a 4 to 5 months time)
I’m so stressed , I can’t sleep at nights and I’m always thinking of the things I must do and the consequences , and worrying about what happens if I won’t succceed !!! how can I calm myself ? please suggest me some ways , anything eatable which calms down ? or any drinks ? any other suggestion ? thinking about what ? ( I can’t force myself to dream about nice things - the way I always used to calm myself down - each time I start to dream , my mind jumps at stressful matters immediately and I can’t control it !! ) thanks :)

i am not to sure how to repond to your message ..i know times come about in a person’s life…where it feels like there is no end to what is going…just one thing after another..what did you mean by a higher stage in your life??…meaning your getting older and there are decisions you have to make…i dont know what kind of stress your under…whether it is good stress or bad stress…i guess no type of stress is good…but try to focus on the most current matters…the issues that you can fix or react to now…and organize what you want and how your going to get there…i sometimes find that writing things down really helps to make things concrete and it may give you a sense of control..i know life is hard at times…but keep your head up…be positive and you will get there…take care…

I have trouble sleeping, i always feel i can blame it on one part of me not being tired, either my body, mind, or eyes are awake. Body is purely physical, this is easy, tensing and slowly releasing your muscles. Eyes being awake comes from too much visual stress. Your’s sounds like mind, which is the hardest. I haven’t really found a way to completely overcome it and the more you try to the harder it gets. I would suggest reading a book before you sleep and controlling your breathing, deep, controlled breaths that helps me.
