pimple ..

i have this pimple on my lip line
the top lip
its not a coldsore
im sure that its a pimple,

i got it about a week and a half ago, and last week it looked like it was ready to pop because it had a pencil dot sized white circle on the top of it, so i poped it. it wasnt easy. but i did it.

it didnt fully go, only the white went and i still had a red lump much like a blind pimple still there.

it was fine for a while after and i started to apply foundations to it to cover it up because i thought it was going away and i had school.
i used more lip balms.
touched it more because it was annoying.

and now, it is inflamed and infected looking because it is red and soo painful all around that area including my nose.
it again has a little pencil dot sized white head on the top if it, except its where the acual bump is, not ontop of it. so when i pop it (if i ever get to) the bump will go, and shrink.

it felt similar to a pimple i had last year, it was just just just under my nose and i couldnt move my mouth because it was hurting lots, it feels the exact same pain as that

can anyone tell me what i can to do minimise the pain and the inflamation and the redness. or even to get rid of it. !!

Try putting a dot of toothpaste on it overnight. Toothpaste kind of sucks the infection out and dries out the pimple. It won’t make it look pretty right away, but it can help to get rid of the core problem which is the infection. Then keep your face clean, DON’T clog it back up with makeup, and don’t touch it. Getting things in it or touching it will transfer bacteria back into the sore and it will keep getting infected, bigger, and uglier.

Oh, and when you use toothpaste, use the white stuff, not the gel. The key ingredient is the baking soda.

I feel for you, if it’s really swelled just use Clearasil. It dries them out very well, after two or three days they basically flake off.

very disgusting I know.

Anyway, guys have it worse. Battling it like what, five years now?

NO WONDER I’M SINGLE IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.

Anyway. I’m sure it’ll be fine. just temporary. Just remind yourself that you care much more than other people do. Which tends to actually be the case.

Hope that helps. although everyone else seems to have better methods I’m just posting my own.

I would just pop it and put warm water on it to clean it and open the pores and dab abit of spot cream on it or something else for spots. There are loads of different things you could use:clean and clear, clearisil, freederm, witch hazel. If you use anything though and your skin goes bright red then wash it off and try something else cause your skin might be sensitive to it. so then you’ll have to look for something for sensitive skin. That’s what I have to do. I can’t use clearasil. and definatly dont pick and keep touching.
