Throughout all your lies i travelled,

Throughout all your lies i travelled,
With a heavy load strapped to my back.
You used me, then threw me aside when you were done with me.
I landed in a deep and cold ditch,
A loving hand was extended and helped me out the other side.
You came calling, and did not like what you saw.
A new me. Stronger, taller and the load had been cut free.
I no longer held out my hand for your charity of false friendship.
I was just a means to provide for you.
A free roof over your head, someone you could take for granted.
After all i gave to you - You threw it in my face, bit my hand,
And now you seek revenge for the charity I extended.
Thank you
I now see your true and ugly colours

Nice poem. I am sorry for your pain but glad to see you came out stronger on the other side :)
