download help: MY problem is related with Windows XP OS. - Help.com

MY problem is related with Windows XP OS.

I am unable to run any MS Office application like Word or Excel. I am receiving the message “Windows Installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe mode, or if windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact support personal for assistance.”
I am also not able to Uninstyall any application. Why it is so? This problem has started a few days ago after dowloading NOD 32 Anti virus from Internet. Please help me.

You may have a virus that has corrupted your system. If you downloaded Nod 32 from an unofficial source like a Torrent, then you are highly likely to get a virus. You may also need to get your computer repaired and the errors corrected by a properly qualified technician. On the other hand, I recommend you downloading Spybot - Search And Destroy and scanning your computer. Download link for Spybot - Search And Destroy 1.6.2 (The Latest Version): http://www.safer-networking.org.
Are you on Last FM? Check out the Spybot - Search And Destroy group too: http://www.last.fm/group/Spybot+-+Sea…. Thanks! :-)
