I’m proud of my mixed heritage. I think everyone should have some kind of mixed blood. ;)

Not so. It matters on how well some one wants to do good. I’m top in my class.

Its all about your moral and your outlook on life. If you believe you are going to do well, then chances are, you are going to do good. You cannot forget that family and enviornment, i.e. home, school, friends, play a factor. If you give two people from different ethnic backgrounds the SAME circumstances, then you will see that they will do equally well.

But not the same circumstances. Everyone has the chance to go to school and do well. But not everybody grows up with food on the table, several siblings that the eldest has to take care of, or parents that make a decent living. These factors can effect someone mentally to where their thoughts are on more important things.

I would never say one race is superior over another. Maybe the white race has had more power in somewhat recent history, but definitely not superior. I do see your point about mix races. Personally I am a mutt and can identify with several different backgrounds and think its great. I also think its great to have people who are a 100% Irish or 100% Cuban etc.

Its people like you that deny many non caucasion peaople the chances and opertunities to advance for example there careers because people with your mindset will hire a white person before a black person.

No race is superior, and no race deserves to have or achieve more than the next. Its the geneva convention, the human rights act. The majority of a race, the human race wich decided upon those law’s and continue to uphold them.

People who think like yourself are the minority, and dare I say it wrong.

From my own perspective, I think your opinion is flawed. There’s nothing wrong with pride in one’s own race, but when you begin to believe that your own race is better than every other race, you are ignoring all of history. Also, I believe that how religious someone is can influence how polarized they are on this subject.

The first known humans existed in Africa. Do you think they were white? You’d be mistaken if you did. Also, science has shown that everyone’s genetic heritage can be traced back to a small tribe of early humans in Africa. At one point in history, humans were an endagered species. Our numbers had blossomed into the hundreds of thousands, but a famine occurred which dwindled our ranks to as few as 20,000. All of current civilization can be traced to these settlers (This info stems from a study I read earlier in the summer. Though it cannot be proven without actually going back in time, the evidence is solid scientifically speaking). From there, civilization spread to other continents and over hundreds of thousands of years we developed geographically distinct characteristics.

As for the “Superior” thought, I’m not sure where to refute you first. I think most of all that you are confusing skin color with personality and actions. I assure you that every race and creed has both the salt of the earth and the scum of society. It is my opinion that education is the key to developing anyone, regardless of their race.

I urge you to reevaluate your thoughts on race and “superiority”, because your thought process is a slippery slope that leads to judging someone simply by the color of their skin instead of their actions as a human being.

There’s nothing preventing that it’s just a saying that we’re all equal regardless of religion or creed, for that matter!

It’s saying that even if you remove religion all people are still equal.

What does religion have to do with equality?

Religions generally promote equality, I think it’s a good quote (makes a lot of sense to me)!
